Welcome to Learn The Strokes!
The Learn the Strokes program introduces children and youth to a wide scope of aquatic skills. From basic water orientation and acclimation skills taught by instructors in the water to our youngest and novice members including the use of rescue and personal safety equipment. Water exploration, skill refinement, and competitive strokes as well as diving skills are introduced to intermediate and more advanced students. All swimmers will learn basic water safety skills established by the American Red Cross and learn to be safe at, around, and in the water as part of this camp.
Two options within the Learn the Strokes Camp are available*:
- Age Group Camp Ages 6-14 10:45a - 11:30a $155
- Pre school Camp Ages 3-6 11:45a - 12:15p $125

Is My Swimmer Ready for a LTS Camp?
This program is for the swimmer who has little or no swimming oe aquatic experience. This program is also for the youngster or youth who has an interest in learning to swim. The Learn the Strokes camp has no entry requirement. Youngsters and youth will be placed in the appropriate group on the first day of camp following a quick swimmer assessment.
The camp is offered in the summer with the eight session camp on the dates as follows:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday June 10 -12, June 17-19, June 24-26 with 6/26 only as a make up date.
Swimmers in the Learn the strokes camp who meet the NKAT Level I competencies are invited to join our USA Swim team. A second camp may be offered if there is interest following the holiday.
Click the button below to pay your child's registration fee for NKAT Learn the Strokes. Cost is $125 for Pre-School Camp (age 3-6) or $155 for Age Group Camp (age 6-15). Upon receipt of payment, you will be contacted with confirmation of your spot with our program.
