About Us

Northview Community Swim Team (NCST) and the North Kent Aquatic Team (NKATs), located in Northern Kent County, is a non-profit board-operated swimming program focused on our student-athletes. With both a developmental and competitive USA swim program, we strive to present new opportunities and growth for our swimmers from novice to college. We maintain a safe and inviting program utilizing creative ideas and best practices. Our swim program recognizes hard work, builds confident individuals, respects diversity, has fun, and celebrates community.

Our Facility

Northview Community Aquatic Center is home to Northview Community Swim Team and North Kent Aquatic Swim Team (NKATs), a competitive diving team, and various Red Cross aquatic and health and safety programs. Our goal is to provide a positive learning experience for every one of our swimmers and divers.  Regardless of experience or ability, our focus is on maximizing the potential of each student-athlete in and out of the water. We believe the skills learned from an aquatic experience can create life-long opportunities that reach far beyond the pool.

Our Mission

The Northview Community Swim Team and North Kent Aquatic Team provides a safe and positive learning environment that assures the physical, emotional and social development of all athletes to their highest potential. Swimmers will master essential skills, acquire respect and confidence for themselves and others. Swimmers will strive to be good citizens, supportive teammates and achieve personal fulfillment through this particular life experience.
